My Undeniable Passion for Mushroom Photography
Mushroom photography has always been a passion of mine. Even when I was on my 40 year photography hiatus, if I saw a cool mushroom I would run and get a camera. I guess what fascinates me most about mushrooms is I can go into the woods one day and there will be nothing. I go the next day and dozens of ‘shrooms have literally popped up out of seeming nowhere. And I mean some of the heads are 8 to 10 inches across. It’s magical! If you will notice on some of the mushroom images there is white debris all around the cluster of fungi. They are growing so fast and furious that parts of them are flying off. It’s quite amazing to see.
